ABOUT WNFP
Westchester Networking for Professionals (WNFP), founded by Theresa Todman, is a sophisticated social networking community, made up of business professionals. In addition to networking we've been offering growth and enhancement opportunities since 2005 for like minded business professionals eager to meet new people and build professional relationships that will generate opportunities to take their business to the next level. We do this without the pressure of dealing with the expectations of high-pressure groups that focus solely on bringing referrals.
Our stylish live business card exchange networking events give professional men and women an opportunity to unwind, socialize, network and develop long lasting relationships and opportunities for success.
In 2009, WNFP launched its online members community to offer its members a place to make connections, generate professional relationships and build business through the internet.
WNFP also offers valuable ways for professionals to promote their businesses by getting involved using social marketing techniques, sharing their knowledge and experiences, advertising and marketing opportunities to targeted local professionals and building their business connections.
WNFP began as a small group of roundtable professionals coming together to meet and have business discussions. Since then, WNFP has grown in many aspects, offering its members and attending guests valuable resources to build long lasting relationships and build new business opportunities.
Our mission is to provide alternatives that our community of business professionals can utilize to enhance their professional growth and development through our live networking events, powerful business luncheons and resources to build professional relationships and generate new business. It is our commitment to support and offer ways professional individuals can benefit and acquire the confidence they need to help them excel and achieve their goals.
Our community consists of entrepreneurs, business owners, sole proprietors, executives and individuals who are upscale, professional, polite, friendly, approachable, good-looking and lively too. They know that building professional relationships and generating new contacts is the source of their success.
MEET THE FOUNDER
"I've
been asked several times how did I get started with WNFP, well here's
my story: When I became an entrepreneur with
Bookkeeping & More Services, as a start-up, with little funds, I was
unable to pay the high fees to join the chambers or other business
organizations to get the word out about my business. I came across a
FREE business networking event in White Plains, NY. I was so excited to attend and meet some like minded professionals, start making some connections to get the word our about my new business.
To my disappointed, when I arrived, not only was there no one
there for the networking event, not even the organizer. I also felt
that the place was not suitable for a business gathering. To make a
long story short, I contacted the organizer, gave him my thoughts, his
response was "why don't you do it!". So that how WNFP began."
As the President/CEO of Bookkeeping & More Services now doing business as B&M Financial Management Services, I understand that the best resource in building a business is through networking connections.
